Church Camp 2025 – June 6-8

Church on June 8 will at Wuggubun at 10am. Please come and join us – directions below. There will be no church service at our St. James building in Kununurra on June 8.

This is an event you don’t want to miss. A great weekend with the church family, spending time in God’s word – this year we’re looking at what the bible says about church, plus a great kids program. If you’re not sure, find someone who went last year and ask them if you should come!

The cost is $115 per adult, $50 per child or $330 for a family ticket for the weekend. You can also purchase a Saturday ticket for $50 or Sunday lunch ticket for $10.

If you’re wondering what the weekend looks like, here is a quick breakdown:

Friday – Arrive and set up your tents, caravans, and swags. Have dinner and then chat around the campfire.

Saturday – Maybe join an early morning walk, or sleep in and enjoy coffee over breakfast. On Saturday morning, we’ll begin reflecting on God’s extravagant Grace as Ray Arthur (from Perth) shares God’s word with us. The kids will have a program during this time. After lunch, we’ll have a relaxed afternoon – if you’re willing to brave the cold, you can go for a dip in the creek. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner followed by a talent show – step aside, Australian Idol.

Sunday – Same as Saturday morning, except we start packing up. We’ll have church at 10:00 a.m. at Wuggubun, followed by lunch, and then a trek home 🙂

If you haven’t been before, I encourage you to make the effort as it’s a great weekend away. If you’re unsure, consider speaking with someone who has already gone and find out how good it is from their perspective.
